Adds human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to the list of required immunizations for Florida school children, alongside existing requirements for polio, diphtheria, measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, and tetanus

Amends Section 1003.22 of Florida Statutes governing school-entry health examinations and immunization requirements

Requires the Department of Health, in consultation with the Department of Education, to adopt rules governing the administration of the HPV vaccine

Maintains existing provisions that exemption procedures must be included in the rules and that all required immunizations shall be available at no cost from county health departments

Effective date: July 1, 2019
