Creates the Independent Living Task Force within the Florida Housing Finance Corporation to develop policy proposals incentivizing contractors and developers to build low-cost, supportive, and affordable housing units for individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness within mixed-use developments

Task force consists of 22 members including state agency directors, a Governor appointee, and 15 representatives appointed by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation director from housing coalitions, disability advocacy organizations, local government associations, and industry groups

Task force must identify barriers in existing policies, recommend regulatory modifications (such as allowing greater density), propose financial incentives for developers, and suggest funding mechanisms for these housing units

Report with findings, conclusions, and recommendations due to the Governor and Legislature by December 1, 2020

Task force expires February 2, 2021, and members serve without compensation or travel reimbursement
