Establishes a 16-member task force within the Florida Department of Education to recommend improvements to standardized assessment accommodations for exceptional students, convening by July 1, 2019

Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker each appoint 5 members, including educators, administrators, and parents of students with special needs; Commissioner of Education serves as chair

Task force must meet at least 6 times at locations throughout the state, including rural and urban areas, with all documents and recordings posted publicly on the department's website

Requires review of current Florida accommodations, accommodations used by other states, and testimony from stakeholders including teachers, parents, principals, and superintendents

Task force must submit recommendations to State Board of Education by October 1, 2019, with the Board submitting a written report to the Governor and Legislature by November 1, 2019, after which the task force expires
