Churches, synagogues, and other religious institutions may authorize concealed weapons licensees to carry firearms on property they own, rent, lease, or lawfully use for purposes of safety, security, or personal protection

Amends Section 790.06, Florida Statutes, which governs concealed weapon and firearm licenses

Concealed carry licensees retain the right to carry or store firearms in vehicles for lawful purposes

Violations of concealed carry restrictions remain a second-degree misdemeanor under sections 775.082 or 775.083
