Exempts theme parks, entertainment complexes, zoos, museums, aquariums, restaurants, and hotels from standard lost property procedures under Florida Statutes 705.101-705.106 if they follow the new alternative process

Requires premises owners/operators to record the date property was found and hold unclaimed items for at least 30 days before disposal or donation

Prohibits sale of unclaimed property; items must be disposed of or donated to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations

Allows rightful owners to reclaim their property at any time before disposal or donation occurs

Requires charitable organizations receiving unsecured electronic devices to make reasonable efforts to delete all personal data before selling or disposing of the devices
