Creates Section 633.217, Florida Statutes, prohibiting any person from threatening, coercing, tricking, persuading, or otherwise influencing a firesafety inspector to violate the Florida Fire Prevention Code, State Fire Marshal rules, or related statutes

Prohibits offering compensation to firesafety inspectors to induce code violations

First-time violations constitute a first-degree misdemeanor under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083

Second or subsequent violations escalate to a third-degree felony under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083
