Adds sickle-cell anemia to the list of conditions excluded from the definition of "acute pain" under Florida's controlled substance prescribing law (s. 456.44, F.S.)

Sickle-cell anemia patients would no longer be subject to the 3-day opioid prescription limit that applies to acute pain treatment

Other conditions already excluded from acute pain limitations include cancer, terminal conditions, palliative care, and traumatic injuries with an Injury Severity Score of 9 or greater
