Counties may impose annual vessel registration fees at 50% of the applicable state registration fee on vessels registered, operated, used, or stored within their jurisdiction

The first $1 of every registration fee must be remitted to the state for deposit in the Save the Manatee Trust Fund within the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

Remaining fee revenue may be used for patrol, regulation, and maintenance of lakes, rivers, and waters, as well as other boating-related activities

Expands permitted uses to include channel and navigational dredging, construction/expansion/maintenance of public boat ramps and water access facilities, and associated engineering and permitting costs
