Removes housing discrimination from the list of causes of action eligible for relief and damages under Section 760.07 of the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, while retaining protections for discrimination in education, employment, and public accommodations

Allows aggrieved persons to file civil actions in court for housing discrimination without first exhausting administrative remedies or filing a complaint with the commission

Changes the 2-year deadline to file civil actions for discriminatory housing practices from mandatory to permissive ("may commence" instead of "shall be commenced")

Prohibits aggrieved persons from filing civil actions if they have already entered into a conciliation agreement with the commission (except to enforce the agreement's terms) or if an administrative law judge has begun a hearing on the allegation

Takes effect upon becoming law
