Department of Health must establish a long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) pilot program in Duval, Hillsborough, and Palm Beach Counties to improve access to implants, injections, and intrauterine devices for women

Contracts with family planning providers must include LARC services, staff training on counseling and side effect management, technical assistance on billing and coding, and marketing/community outreach

$100,000 in nonrecurring General Revenue funds appropriated for fiscal year 2019-2020, distributed equally among the three participating counties

Department must submit effectiveness report to Governor and Legislature by January 1, 2021, including data on unintended pregnancy reduction, clients served, costs, and return on investment analysis

Department required to apply for federal grants and other funding sources to supplement state appropriation
