Exempts concealed weapons permit holders from Florida's mandatory waiting period when purchasing firearms, as well as from any county-level waiting period requirements adopted under the State Constitution

Expands the definition of "holder of a concealed weapons permit" to include not only license holders under s. 790.06 but also full-time, part-time, and auxiliary law enforcement officers certified under chapter 943

Broadens the definition of "law enforcement officer" to include county and municipal corrections officers, certified supervisory and command personnel with responsibilities over law enforcement officers, and all state and U.S. attorneys along with their assistants and investigators

Updates cross-references throughout multiple statutes (ss. 790.06, 790.115, 790.145, 810.095, and 921.0024) to conform with the renumbering of subsections in s. 790.001
