Creates section 943.0586, Florida Statutes, requiring the Criminal Justice Information Program to automatically seal criminal history records of minors upon notification by the court clerk when all charges are declined, dismissed, or result in acquittal.

Applies to minors charged with felonies, misdemeanors, or comparable violations by state, county, municipal, or other law enforcement agencies.

Requires automatic sealing when all related charges were declined by the state attorney or statewide prosecutor, dismissed, or resulted in acquittal/not guilty verdict and all prosecution appeals are exhausted or appeal deadlines have expired.

Provides that administrative sealing has the same legal effect as sealing under section 943.059(4), Florida Statutes.

Allows minors receiving automatic sealing relief to petition separately for expunction or additional sealing under sections 943.0582, 943.0583, 943.0585, and 943.059 if otherwise eligible.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
