Agency for Health Care Administration must include hospitals meeting criteria for thrombectomy-capable stroke centers on the state-listed stroke centers list, alongside acute stroke ready centers, primary stroke centers, and comprehensive stroke centers.

Hospitals seeking listing must attest via affidavit on an agency-adopted form that they meet the criteria, or provide certification from a nationally recognized accrediting organization.

Thrombectomy-capable stroke centers must regularly report to the statewide stroke registry information specified by the Department of Health, including nationally recognized stroke performance measures.

Department of Health must send the list of all four stroke center categories to the medical director of each licensed emergency medical services provider by June 1 of each year.

Stroke centers receive liability protection for providing information to the statewide stroke registry.
