Requires each public swimming pool in Florida to have a telephone available for all pool users in case of emergency by December 31, 2019, or an earlier date determined by the county health department.

Telephone must be capable of directly dialing 911 or a central monitoring station in compliance with North American safety standards (ETL or UL listed) and must include dialing instructions.

Telephone must be permanently mounted either inside the pool premises or outside within 75 feet of a pool entrance.

If the telephone is not visible from within the pool premises, a sign must be posted inside the premises indicating its location.

The act takes effect upon becoming law.
