CS/CS/HB 1107 Summary

• Creates new criminal prohibition on knowingly selling, lending, distributing, transmitting, showing, or possessing with intent to distribute child-like sex dolls, punishable as felony of the third degree (second or subsequent offense is felony of the second degree).

• Prohibits knowingly possessing child-like sex dolls, punishable as misdemeanor of the first degree for first offense (second or subsequent offense is felony of the third degree).

• Incorporates the new provisions into existing Florida statutes relating to criminal activity definitions, obscene material confiscation and seizure, racketeering activity, offense severity ranking, search warrants, and DNA database qualifying offender definitions.

• Effective date: October 1, 2019.
