Creates section 901.015, F.S., prohibiting law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, and specified officers from complying with immigration detainers or nonjudicial immigration warrants issued by the Department of Homeland Security.

Prohibits detention or advance notification to federal immigration authorities based solely on immigration detainers or nonjudicial warrants, and bars stops, arrests, searches, or detentions based solely on an individual's citizenship or immigration status.

Provides immunity from civil or criminal liability for law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, and officers acting in good faith under this section, except for willful or wanton misconduct.

Creates exception allowing compliance with federal warrants issued by federal courts or court orders related to federal crimes.

Requires all law enforcement agencies and correctional institutions to provide guidance and support to officers by October 1, 2019, for compliance; effective date July 1, 2019, with section 901.015 effective October 1, 2019.
