Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles must provide tax collectors and their agents with real-time access to vehicle and vessel registration data on the same basis as other third parties.

Tax collectors and license tag agents must receive current residential addresses and electronic mail addresses of vehicle and mobile home owners for motor vehicle registrations.

Tax collectors must receive current residential addresses and electronic mail addresses of vessel owners for vessel registrations.

The Florida Real Time Vehicle Information System shall be installed in every tax collector's and license tag agent's office according to a schedule established by the department and contingent upon available funding.

Effective date is July 1, 2019.
