Adds sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes under the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, with protections extended to employment, housing, education, and public accommodations.

Defines "gender identity" as gender-related identity, appearance, or behavior regardless of whether it differs from traditionally associated characteristics, demonstrated through medical history, consistent assertion, or other evidence of sincere core identity.

Defines "sexual orientation" as an individual's heterosexuality, homosexuality, or bisexuality.

Provides an exception allowing religious corporations, associations, educational institutions, and societies to condition employment and public accommodation opportunities based on religion, and preserves constitutional free exercise of religion protections.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
