Students who earned required credits with a 2.5 GPA qualify for the equivalency diploma without additional requirements

Students who earned required credits with a 2.0 GPA qualify if they also earned an industry certification while in high school

Lowers the minimum age requirement from 18 to 17 years old for candidates seeking a diploma through the new credit-based pathways

Requires district school boards to include students meeting these new criteria in plans for advanced postsecondary instruction developed with Florida College System institutions
