Allows a new 24-month coverage period to begin if a child experiences significant unexpected hearing changes or medical conditions requiring a different hearing aid before the existing period expires

Makes the insured responsible for costs exceeding the policy's coverage amount

Applies to policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2020
