Permits engineers to reuse documents previously sealed by another engineer if the successor engineer can independently recreate the work, with the successor assuming full professional and legal responsibility upon signing and sealing the documents

Reduces the timeframe for local building officials to act on permit applications from private providers from 30 business days to 20 business days, and requires notification of private provider use 2 business days prior to first inspection instead of 7 days

Requires structural inspections on threshold buildings during new construction or during repair/restoration projects that modify the structural system or loading

Allows private providers to perform building inspections outside of local building officials' normal operating hours, including before/after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays
