Expands authorized uses of drones by law enforcement agencies in Florida by amending existing drone search and seizure laws

Permits law enforcement to use drones for crowd control when gatherings involve 50 or more people

Allows drone use for traffic management purposes, but prohibits using drones to gather evidence for traffic infraction enforcement

Authorizes drones to collect evidence at crime scenes and traffic crash scenes

Enables state agencies and political subdivisions to use drones for damage assessment after floods, wildfires, or natural disasters, as well as for vegetation or wildlife management on public land or water

Allows certified fire department personnel to operate drones for tasks within their authorized scope of practice
