Replaces the term "fetus" with "unborn human being" throughout Florida's abortion statutes and defines "unborn human being" as an individual organism of the species Homo sapiens from fertilization until live birth

Establishes a third-degree felony penalty for knowingly performing or inducing an abortion on a pregnant woman after a fetal heartbeat has been detected

Requires physicians to document in the patient's medical file both the viability determination and whether a fetal heartbeat was detected before performing any termination of pregnancy
