Creates section 768.092, Florida Statutes, establishing liability protections for lessors of special mobile equipment (as defined in s. 316.003)

Shields lessors from liability for injury, death, or damage caused by leased special mobile equipment when the lease agreement requires documented proof of insurance from the lessee

Requires minimum insurance coverage of $250,000 per person and $500,000 per incident for bodily injury, plus $100,000 for property damage, or alternatively $750,000 combined liability coverage

Protects lessors from liability even if the lessee fails to maintain the required insurance coverage specified in the lease agreement

Effective date of July 1, 2019
