Amends Florida Statutes section 943.325 to clarify that DNA matches from criminal investigations can be used to establish probable cause for issuing an arrest warrant or obtaining a DNA sample from an offender.

Modifies legislative findings related to the use of the Florida DNA database by specifying that matches may support warrant issuance "for arrest" in addition to DNA sample collection.

Makes grammatical and clarifying revisions to the statute's language regarding DNA database matches and their evidentiary use.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
