Authorizes district school boards to contract with county health departments or other entities to provide school health services to students, rather than limiting provision to county health departments.

Requires all school health funding available for contracted services to be directed from the county health department to the district school board when contracting with entities other than the county health department.

Defines "entity" or "health care entity" to include hospitals, health maintenance organizations, health insurers, community health centers, federally qualified health centers, nonprofit organizations, private businesses, and philanthropic foundations participating in public-private partnerships.

Makes minor language changes from mandatory to permissive language regarding parental notification procedures for school health services and invasive screenings.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
