Authorizes community pharmacies to dispense medications through automated pharmacy systems located away from the pharmacy's primary location for outpatient use.

Requires automated pharmacy systems for outpatient dispensing to be supervised by a licensed Florida pharmacist available for patient counseling and prohibits dispensing of controlled substances in Schedules II-V.

Mandates community pharmacies notify the Board of Pharmacy of automated system locations, maintain records of dispensed drugs with identifying pharmacist information, and ensure patient health information confidentiality.

Clarifies that medications stored in automated pharmacy systems and dispensed through them are considered part of the originating pharmacy's inventory and constitute legal dispensing by that pharmacy.

Requires the Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules governing automated pharmacy system operations including recordkeeping, security, and labeling requirements.
