Requires the Office of Early Learning to establish preservice and inservice training requirements for school readiness programs that include early learning professional development pathways.

Directs the office to develop professional development training and course standards for school readiness program providers.

Mandates identification of both formal and informal early learning career pathways with stackable credentials and certifications that strengthen teacher knowledge, align with professional standards, and improve kindergarten readiness outcomes.

Requires early learning credentials and certifications to align with K-12 teacher training standards established in section 1001.215(3) to the greatest extent possible.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
