Removes requirement for Agency for Health Care Administration to adopt rules establishing stroke center criteria and instead requires hospitals to submit documentation verifying their national certification.

Requires emergency medical services provider protocols for stroke patient transport to consider the capability of receiving facilities to improve outcomes for patients with suspected emergent large vessel occlusion.

Modifies statewide stroke registry requirements to reference nationally recognized guidelines and platforms for collecting stroke performance measure data from certified stroke centers.
