Renames the "Uniform Foreign Depositions Law" to the "Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act" and expands its scope to cover document production and premises inspection, not just testimony

Establishes a streamlined process where parties from other states can submit a foreign subpoena to a Florida clerk of court, who must promptly issue a corresponding Florida subpoena

Defines "state" to include U.S. states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, federally recognized Indian tribes, and U.S. territories

Requires that subpoenas issued under the act be served according to Florida law and rules, and that any motions to enforce, quash, or modify subpoenas be filed in the county where discovery is sought

Explicitly excludes criminal proceedings from the act's coverage and applies to all discovery requests pending or commenced on or after July 1, 2019
