Amends section 790.0601 of Florida Statutes to make permanent the public records exemption for personal identifying information of individuals who have applied for or received a concealed weapon or firearm license through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Extends confidentiality protections to personal identifying information held by tax collectors appointed by the Department to receive concealed carry license applications and fees under section 790.0625.

Allows disclosure of exempt information only with express written consent of the applicant or licensee, by court order upon showing good cause, or by law enforcement agencies in connection with lawful duties.

Abrogates the scheduled October 2, 2019 repeal date that was previously required under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect October 1, 2019.
