Expands definition of "critical infrastructure facility" to include state correctional institutions, private correctional facilities, secure detention centers, and county detention facilities, protecting them from unauthorized drone operations.

Lowers minimum age requirement for correctional officers from 19 years to 18 years of age, while maintaining 19-year minimum for other law enforcement officers.

Applies the age requirement amendment throughout Florida Statutes by reenacting 16 related sections that reference officer employment qualifications in sections 943.131, 943.133, 943.137, 943.139, 943.1395, 943.14, 943.17, 943.253, 944.105, 944.714, 945.035, 948.01, 951.063, and 985.644.

Maintains existing penalties for drone violations over critical infrastructure facilities: second-degree misdemeanor for first offense and first-degree misdemeanor for subsequent offenses.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
