Membership authorization forms for public employee unions must include a bold, 14-point acknowledgment stating that Florida is a right-to-work state and that union membership and dues are voluntary

Employee organizations must revoke membership upon written request, and revocation forms cannot require employees to provide a reason for leaving

Employers must confirm directly with employees (electronically or by other means) that they authorized dues deductions before deductions can begin

Dues deduction authorizations automatically terminate when the bargaining agent ratifies a new collective bargaining agreement or after 3 years from when deductions began, whichever comes first

Employees may revoke dues deduction authorization with 30 days' written notice to the employer and employee organization
