Delivery of 20 grams or less of cannabis without consideration is reclassified from a misdemeanor of the first degree to a noncriminal violation.

Possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis or 600 milligrams or less of THC in cannabis products is reclassified from a felony of the third degree to a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis is reclassified from a misdemeanor of the first degree to a noncriminal violation.

Juveniles who violate possession provisions for the first time are eligible for civil citation or prearrest diversion programs under section 985.12.

The act takes effect July 1, 2020.
