Amends s. 28.345 to specify that court-related fee exemptions apply to state attorneys, public defenders, guardian ad litems, public guardians, attorney ad litems, criminal conflict and civil regional counsel, and private court-appointed counsel paid by the state, along with authorized staff and state agencies acting in official capacity.

Amends s. 744.2008 to require courts to waive any court costs or filing fees in proceedings for appointment of a public guardian or proceedings involving the estate of a ward for whom a public guardian has been appointed.

Amends s. 744.3675 to authorize a physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse to perform medical examinations of wards and prepare required reports for annual guardianship plans, provided a physician has requested and delegated this responsibility.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
