Ratifies the proposed Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was approved by both houses of Congress on a two-thirds majority and sent to states for ratification on March 22, 1972.

Prohibits denial or abridgment of equality of rights under law by the United States or any State on account of sex.

Grants Congress power to enforce the amendment's provisions through appropriate legislation.

Amendment takes effect two years after the date of ratification.

Directs Florida's Secretary of State to forward certified copies of the resolution to federal officials including the President, U.S. Secretary of State, congressional leaders, and the General Services Administration.
