Amends Florida Statutes section 790.06 to add child care facilities as defined in section 402.302 to the list of places where concealed weapon or firearm licensees cannot openly carry a handgun or carry a concealed weapon or firearm.

Prohibits concealed weapon or firearm licensees from carrying weapons into any child care facility, joining existing restrictions on police stations, courthouses, schools, airports, and other specified locations.

Renumbers subsequent restrictions in the statute to accommodate the new child care facility prohibition as item 10, with all following restrictions renumbered accordingly.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
