• Revises notice of commencement and notice of termination requirements, including updating notarization procedures to allow online notarization and clarifying lessee ownership interest disclosures.

• Modifies service of documents procedures across multiple construction bond and lien statutes to align with section 713.18 requirements, including registered mail, carrier delivery, or posting methods.

• Authorizes attorney fee recovery in actions to enforce liens that have been transferred to security and makes technical amendments to waiver and release provisions.

• Effective date: July 1, 2020.
