Prohibits sheriffs from serving or executing writs of possession on premises located in counties under a hurricane watch or hurricane warning issued by the National Weather Service until 5 days after the warning terminates.

Tolls the 24-hour notice period required for writs of possession until 5 days after termination of a hurricane watch or hurricane warning if the premises is in an affected county.

Maintains that Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays do not pause the 24-hour notice period under normal circumstances.

Amends Florida Statutes section 83.62 regarding restoration of possession to landlord.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
