Amends section 90.504 of Florida Statutes to eliminate husband-wife communications privilege in civil and criminal proceedings involving child abuse or neglect

Removes privilege protection when communications between spouses concern committing or attempting to commit sexual abuse of a minor child, physical abuse of a minor child, or neglect of a minor child

Allows such communications to be used as evidence in court proceedings related to child abuse or neglect cases

Effective date is July 1, 2020
