Creates section 456.0231 of Florida Statutes to exempt physicians from Florida medical licensure requirements when treating veterans employed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Defines "physician" as a person holding an active, unencumbered license to practice allopathic or osteopathic medicine from another state, the District of Columbia, or U.S. possession, commonwealth, or territory.

Requires physicians to submit proof of valid out-of-state medical license, proof of current employment with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and attestation that services will only be provided to veterans in licensed hospitals.

Mandates the Department of Health notify physicians within 15 business days of receipt of required documentation whether they are exempt from licensure requirements under chapters 458 and 459.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
