Creates the Firefighter Cancer Decontamination Equipment Grant Program within the Division of State Fire Marshal to provide financial assistance for equipment, supplies, and training to reduce firefighter exposure to cancer-causing chemicals

Division of State Fire Marshal will administer the program and award grants annually on a need-based basis to fire departments, including volunteer departments

Grant applications must include a minimum of 25 percent nonstate matching funds, with need-based criteria considering equipment needs, financial needs, and proposed matching fund levels

Grant recipients must report activity to the Fire and Emergency Incident Information Reporting System and comply with the Florida Firefighters Occupational Safety and Health Act

Appropriates $250,000 in recurring funds from the Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund to the Department of Financial Services for program implementation, effective July 1, 2020
