Creates the Florida Veterans' Care Coordination Program under the Department of Veterans' Affairs to provide behavioral health care referral and care coordination services to veterans and their families, with emphasis on mental health and substance abuse services

Program goals focus on preventing veteran suicides and increasing veterans' use of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs services and community-based programs

Services delivered statewide through Florida 211 Network participants include telephonic peer support, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, treatment coordination, safety planning, and resource coordination

Program teams must track caller requests, follow up with veterans and families on referrals, develop outreach communication strategies, and maintain databases of veteran-specific services

Department of Veterans' Affairs required to submit report to Governor and Legislature by December 15, 2021 detailing call volumes, demographics, outcomes, and program impact on quality of life and suicide prevention
