Building plans, blueprints, schematic drawings, and diagrams depicting structural elements of 911, E911, or public safety radio communication infrastructure (towers, antennae, equipment, facilities) owned by government agencies are exempt from public records requirements

Geographical maps showing actual or proposed locations of 911, E911, or public safety radio communication system infrastructure are exempt from public disclosure

Meeting portions that would reveal these exempt documents or maps are closed to the public, though all exempt portions must be recorded and transcribed with recordings kept confidential

Exempt information may be disclosed to other government entities performing official duties, licensed architects/engineers/contractors working on the systems, or by court order showing good cause

Exemptions apply retroactively and are subject to repeal on October 2, 2025 unless reenacted by the Legislature under the Open Government Sunset Review Act
