Creates a public records exemption making trade secrets held by a Florida agency confidential and exempt from disclosure under s. 119.07(1) and the State Constitution

Requires persons claiming trade secret protection to submit a written notice at the time of submission, clearly mark each page containing trade secrets, and provide a sworn declaration verifying the information qualifies as a trade secret

Excludes certain contract information from trade secret protection, including: parties to the contract, payment amounts and structures, types of commodities/services purchased, and unit prices/deliverables

Exempts research institutes, divisions of sponsored research at state universities, and technology transfer centers at Florida College System institutions from this section

Subject to Open Government Sunset Review and automatically repeals on October 2, 2025, unless reenacted by the Legislature
