Requires completion of an 8-hour firearms training course within 6 months before license renewal, covering Florida handgun laws, use of deadly force, handgun safety, proper storage practices to prevent child injuries, and live fire

Allows the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to provide renewal notices electronically rather than only by mail, with effective date of July 1, 2020
