Charter school teachers must be certified under chapter 1012 and hold at minimum a bachelor's degree; charter schools must comply with State Requirements for Educational Facilities of the Florida Building Code

Private schools must provide at least 100 minutes weekly of supervised, unstructured free-play recess for students in kindergarten through grade 5, with minimum 20 consecutive minutes per day

Private school students must participate in the statewide assessment program; private schools must establish curricula complying with Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and employ certified teachers with bachelor's degrees

Private schools must be graded using the same A-F school grading system as public schools and must assess at least 95 percent of eligible students on statewide assessments

Department of Education must expand its private school database to include graduation rates, statewide assessment results, and annual budgets; must develop school report cards for private schools in collaboration with those schools
