Creates section 252.351, Florida Statutes, requiring political subdivisions to report certain incidents to the State Watch Office as soon as practicable after initial response

Division of Emergency Management must create and maintain a list of reportable incidents including: major fires, search and rescue operations, bomb threats, natural hazards, public health emergencies, animal/agricultural events, environmental concerns, nuclear power plant events, major transportation incidents, utility/infrastructure failures, and military events

Division may establish guidelines specifying the method and format political subdivisions must use when reporting incidents

Division must provide the list of reportable incidents to each political subdivision annually, beginning December 1, 2020

Effective date: July 1, 2020
