Defines "postconviction reinvestigative information" as information compiled by a state attorney or criminal justice agency to determine whether a convicted person is actually innocent of the crime

Exempts postconviction reinvestigative information from public records requirements when related to an ongoing, good faith investigation of an actual innocence claim

Exemption ends when the claim is no longer capable of further reasonable investigation or when relief is granted to the convicted person

Applies retroactively to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date of July 1, 2020

Subject to automatic repeal on October 2, 2025, unless reenacted by the Legislature under the Open Government Sunset Review Act
