Clerks of court must submit reimbursement requests for jury-related costs to the Florida Clerks of Court Operations Corporation within 20 days after each quarter, attesting to actual costs incurred.

The Florida Clerks of Court Operations Corporation must review reimbursement requests to ensure costs are reasonably and directly related to jury management before forwarding to the Justice Administrative Commission.

If total reimbursement requests exceed available quarterly funds, the Corporation must adjust the cumulative total to match available funds before submission.

Removes the Justice Administrative Commission's authority to apportion funds among counties based on prior fiscal year expenditures when appropriated amounts are insufficient.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
